Job Description
- Plans and coordinates procurement processes in accordance with the company’s needs.
- Identifies potential suppliers and conducts their analysis to ensure that they provide the necessary products and services at the most competitive prices and with the best quality.
- Drafts and manages contracts with suppliers, ensuring that all terms and conditions are compliant and met.
- Develops and implements company procurement policies and procedures.
- Monitors supplier performance and takes action to address any issues or concerns.
- Collaborates closely with other departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure they are met in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Manages the procurement budget and ensures that procurement activities are carried out within the limits of the assigned budget.
- Supervises and manages the team of procurement employees, providing guidance and direction in accordance with the company’s needs.
Job Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business-related fields, supply management, or a similar field.
- Valuable work experience in the field of procurement, ideally in a management position.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of good procurement practices and applicable laws.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Good knowledge of procurement software and other procurement-related technologies.
- Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with a wide range of different people in the organization.
